Player Development

At the Professional Golf Academies of America, we provide the finest instruction; more importantly, we provide understanding, knowledge, comfort, fun, skill, excitement, camaraderie, thrills, quality family time, longer drives, shorter putts, lower scores, and enjoyment of the game.

Our client base includes kids from ages three to 90, beginners to tour professionals, men, women, and children.

The mission of Professional Golf Academies of America is to provide the highest quality instructional experiences to the juniors, women, and men of our neighborhoods, allowing these golfers to realize their dreams in the game of golf. Understanding that we all play the game for different reasons, our programs serve the needs of every golfer, from the beginner to the tour player. We want to share the journey as the great game of golf provides you all the enjoyment that you deserve.

Whether you are just beginning the game, or have advanced to the game's highest level, we have programs to help you achieve your objectives. From individual lessons to large corporate functions, we are your best choice to move your game to the next level.

Our Innovative Programs Include:

"Divot A Try" a "new golf experience" specially designed for Women...whether you are a complete novice, have some experience or fall somewhere in the middle.  "Divot A Try" provides lessons on driving, chipping and putting given by club professionals.  The Instructors keep the lessons fresh and fun- each week has a different spin.  "Divot A Try" by participating in this light-hearted, no-pressure approach to learning to play golf.  Come when you can, bring a friend or two and pay as you go.  Social happy hour follows the lesson!

"First Swing"
a lesson program specifically designed to introduce the non-golfer to the game in a non-threatening, non-intimidating way.  Students are introduced to the basic golf swing fundamentals, game playing strategies and knowledge about rules and etiquette.  The goal of the First Swing program is to get the student out on the course playing and enjoying the game as soon as possible.

"Link Up 2 Golf" a program targeted to new golfers who have graduated from the First Swing Program.  It is also designed for players that have left the game and desire to return, as well as individuals that would be classified as "Occassional Golfers (having played less than 7 times in a year)".  Students are offered an orientation, series of group lessons, and structured playing opportunities in a casual setting.  This format is intended to be a fun way to learn the game; providing easy and affordable access while connecting participants with golfers of equal ability.  Finally, Link Up 2 Golf programs offer occassional golfers opportunities to become avid golfers.  By creating excitement, opportunities for new playing partners, and improved skills, occassional golfers will want to play more often!

"Family Fun"  our family lesson programs are specifically designed to introduce non-golfing family members to the game of golf in non-threatening, non-intimidating way.  The program is designed to introduce golf as an activity that the entire family can enjoy.  Families will get to spend time together, in a great outdoor environment, having fun, and creating lifelong memories.  Family members will be introduced to basic golf swing fundamentals, game playing strategies, simplified rules and etiquette, and how to get around the golf course.  In addition to practice facility instruction, family programs incorporate on-course playing time with an instructor.
